Welcome to America’s Wine Trails

America’s Wine Trails has been created to help you discover the country’s best wine trails, as well as find new wines and getaway destinations to add to your list of favorites. Visiting wineries and vineyards is a wonderful way to relax among friends, enjoy a romantic rendezvous, or discover wines, wineries and vineyards you didn’t know existed. Our goal at America’s Wine Trails is to help you find the wineries that match your personality and the wines to please your palate.

America’s Wine Trails’ overall goal is to promote wine trails as destinations, whether in your own state or when traveling. For your convenience, we’ve included a “Trip Planner” in the menu section to identify wine trails destinations to which you are traveling. America’s Wine Trails has 277 wine trails listed for you to discover and enjoy.

Designated “wine trails” (defined as a group of wineries and vineyards within close proximity to each other) are normally formed either by the state’s tourism office or the wineries themselves. America’s Wine Trails has taken some liberty in listing a few wine trails where there are none officially designated, as these areas have clusters of wineries along a natural trail but have not yet been formally recognized. None the less, these areas are beautiful and enjoyable to visit.

While searching through this website, you will find some states have many wine trails and a few have none. Regardless, every state has at least one winery or vineyard that you can explore. The “wine trail” concept is growing in popularity and new trails are sprouting up every year.  As these new trails become available, we’ll include them on this website. Please contact us if you know of a trail that is not included on this website.

America’s Wine Trails appreciates you visiting our website. If you like what you see spread the word so other wine lovers and travelers will have this resource to discover their own wine trail trip.
