Sugar Creek winery is definitely a local favorite. This family operated winery and vineyard is situated high on a hill overlooking the Katy Trail and Missouri River Valley. The tasting room is in a charming turn-of-the-century Victorian home filled with award-winning wines ranging from dry and semi-dry, to fruity sweet. April through November the weekends are packed with live music, tasty snacks, and spirited conversation on the shaded terraces – just the place for a memorable outing. If there’s a chill in the air, fear not, there’s a cozy parlor with fireplace to keep you warm.
