Many people may be unaware of the importance this mountainous state places on its vast business of winemaking. The wine industry in Idaho has been continually growing for decades. Particularly in the last ten years, there has been significant growth in the industry. The state now features more than 40 wineries and 1,600 acres of grapes. The Idaho Wine Commission credits the state’s exceptional wines to its dedication to the industry as well as the quality soil in the region.
