New Hampshire has a fairly young wine industry, as the state only joined the industry in the 1990s. Currently, there are only 12 vineyards and wineries, however, the business of winemaking is growing both steadily and quickly in the state. Granted, New Hampshire’s climate is not suitable for all wines, but some grapes that are able to weather the climate are French hybrids such as Seyval, Vignoles and Vidal, which have become quite popular among wine lovers in recent years.
