Montana Wineries

Montana Wineries

Despite its often bitter-cold climate, Montana manages to grow many different grape varieties. Some varieties this state’s wineries have to offer include pinot noir, pinot gris and chardonnay. Montana is also known for using fruits other than grapes when crafting their wines. Montana natives such as huckleberries and cherries are making their way into wines. Even honey is being used for winemaking in the state. However surprising the ingredients, no matter what is being used to make the wines of Montana, those who take the time to enjoy them will be happy they did.
