Georgia may be a state known for peaches, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t assign just as much value to its grapes and, in turn, winemaking. Georgia prides itself on its gorgeous, mountainous scenery as well as its award-winning wines. Georgia has a wide range of grape varieties that are able to grow and prosper in its climate. Wines in this state are typically a blend of two or more grapes. Georgia Wines are produced from native Muscadines, American, European and Hybrid wine grapes.  In addition, Georgia wines are also produced from apples, peaches, blueberries and even honey.  Over the past year, Georgia wines have been celebrated from coast to coast.  Needless to say, Georgia is one state with a passion for wine.
