COLTERRIS Wines and High Country Orchards & Vineyards invite you to TOUR our family owned and operated vineyards, orchards, rose and lavender gardens. Vinifera grape varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, Merlot and Malbec are grown in our vineyards located on East Orchard Mesa south of Palisade on the picturesque Western Slope of Colorado. Situated in the heart of the Grand Valley AVA, these 35 acres of unique vineyard land sit at 4,800 feet in elevation, protected by the foothills of the Grand Mesa and by close proximity to the Colorado River. The combination of high altitude sunlight and cool river nights produce distinctively bold red wines, rich in color, flavor and smooth tannins. Description: The 2014 Colterris Coral White Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Theresa’s Vineyard located on East Orchard Mesa in the heart of the Grand Valley AVA. The grapes were harvested on September 29-30, 2014 with comparatively lower sugar levels, then pressed immediately to separate the white juice from the skins. 922 cases were bottled in January 2015 and the wine has 12.3% alcohol, pH 3.31, TA of (titratable acidity) 6.8 g/L and the residual sugar is 6.1 g/L (approx. 6/10th of 1%)
