Alabama Wineries

Alabama Wine Trails

The word is spreading about the refined taste of home-grown Alabama wines. Much like its Southern hospitality, its vast variety of wines has been attracting many to the state for years.

Alabama prides itself on promoting the use of its beloved state’s grapes in winemaking, not only by commercial wine makers, but by amateur wine makers as well. In fact, a winemaking competition takes place every year for amateur winemakers. The 19 categories of wine being judged include sparkling wines, fortified wines and traditional mead.
