Summer bike rides return to Oregon wine country

Bike Oregon Wine Country has returned. Cyclists can hit the wine trails Sundays in August.

The rides will start and finish at Eola Hill Wine Cellars in Rickreall. Routes vary each week, visiting several wineries and vineyards. Lunch will be provided at participating wineries.

Wine may be purchased along the routes and will be transported back to Eola Hills.

A barbecue meal and wine will be served following bike rides. Brunch will be available for early returners.

The Northern Route will be available Aug. 18 and consists of 45 or 52 miles. The Southern Route will be available on Aug. 11 and 25 and is an easier ride of 45 miles.

Rides return between 4 and 5 p.m.

The cost is $75 per rider.
