About America’s Wine Trails, LLC

Our story isn’t much different than any other start-up company that has a dream to make a difference in the marketplace they serve. Lucky for me, I live in an American Viticultural Area where there are several wineries. As a video producer always looking for a project, I approached a couple of wine trails to produce video mobile tours to help promote them as destinations to new wine consumers . Once completed, my imagination soon looked to a broader scale. Hence, America’s Wine Trails was born. Far from being a wine expert, I called on my good friend, Patty Held to help guide and educate me with the wine industry as I started this new venture. Patty, a winemaker and winery consultant offered me experience way beyond my expectations. Her knowledge and mentoring gave me even more of an appreciation for domestic wine and the future for America’s Wine Trails. For that I am eternally grateful.

In 2011 we launched our website and received great reviews. Realizing how fast the mobile trend was growing with Smartphones, we expanded our website to reach the mobile user in 2012, and shortly after developed mobile apps to help wine lovers find new destinations and discover even more of our country’s fabulous wine and the people who make it.

Today, still a very young company, America’s Wine Trails’ business model continues to develop while supporting local wineries coast to coast, and providing innovative products to the wine consumer.

The Team

Vince Manzer – Owner. Vince has an unwavering passion for the wine industry. His expertise in destination marketing and matching technology with today’s consumer is an asset to today’s wineries. He stands with old school business values and has the desire to produce the best product possible whether it be for a customer or himself.

John Dorsey – Computer programmer / website & mobile app developer. John has over 30 years of software and engineering experience developing websites and mobile apps. He has expertise in nearly all software languages known to mankind. What makes John a great team member is his desire to continually grow and apply the latest technology to the solution that we offer our clients. John is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to those we partner with, which is evident in the quality products he produces.

Patty Held – Winery consultant, winemaker, VESTA Instructor and president of the Hermann Wine Trail rounds out the services America’s Wine Trails offers to wineries. America’s Wine Trails believes the success of a winery is more than just having good wine.  We encourage our members to take advantage of our umbrella of services. Even though Patty has her own consulting business, we promote her expertise to our winery and wine trail members as an America’s Wine Trails team member.

Steve West – Videographer / editor. Steve has been known to hang out of helicopters and climb to great heights to get the right images. When he puts down the camera, his editing skills are second to none. For 25 years Steve has won award after award for his creative talents and was the first to bring non-linear editing to St. Louis. In addition from his TV commercial and industrial videos, he is well known on the sports circuit shooting for CBS and NBC Sports.

Kara Savio – Emmy Award winning writer /journalist / voice over and on camera talent. Kara brings more than 25 years of experience in the television, radio, and video production to our clients. Her engaging personality & unique take on everyday life gives her exceptional understanding of our clients, their products and services. You will see Kara hosting our winery videos.
